Operations Associate

The Reproductive Health Access Project (RHAP) is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and detail-orientated individual to join our staff.  This is a part-time position (60% time) that reports to the Executive Director.

 

Responsibilities:

Supporting the work of a small but busy organization, the Operations Associate will play a key role in ensuring that the Reproductive Health Access Project meets its short and long-term strategic goals. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented self-starter to support a variety of local and national initiatives.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing logistical support for organization trainings, workshops and meetings.
  • Coordinating human resource functions for the organization, including recruitment and orientation of staff, interns and volunteers.
  • Contributing to the organization’s online presence, including maintaining the organization’s website.
  • Coordinating the marketing and sales of the organization’s clinical tools and resources.
  • Coordinating the organization’s presence at local, regional and national conferences.
  • Performing basic bookkeeping and running financial reports to assist with budget monitoring.

 

Education & Experience

  • Commitment to sexual and reproductive justice.
  • Able to work comfortably both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a small, open office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational abilities; especially ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Creative, “out of the box” thinker.
  • Computer literate—thorough understanding of the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, CRM database systems and/or finance software;
  • Experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn) and WordPress.
  • High levels of initiative, dependability, flexibility, and humor.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant work experience; Bachelor’s degree a plus.

This is a 60% time position, schedule is flexible. Benefits include generous vacation policy and 403b plan.
