A policy resolution calling for the American Academy of Family Physicians to recommend that the ACGME and the Residency Review Committee amend the family medicine training guidelines to include training to competence in insertion of intrauterine contraception and to also increase opportunities for CME and resident education in IUD eligibility and insertion.
