Reproductive Health Access Project Statement on the Supreme Court’s Decision in June Medical v Russo. The Supreme Court of the United States released their decision yesterday in June Medical v Russo following the precedent set in Whole Women’s Health v Hellerstedt that the admitting privileges requirements place a substantial obstacle in the path of patients seeking abortion care, constitute an undue burden on abortion access, and thus violate the Constitution.

Reproductive Health Access Project Statement on the CMS Approval of Texas Medicaid Waiver The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approval of a waiver submitted by the state of Texas discriminates against clinicians who provide abortion care, threatens access to reproductive health care for millions of people in Texas, and will end up reducing the number of qualified family planning providers in the state.
